Michaela Slamka- Johnston is a fourth generation barbershopper, following in the footsteps of her dad (Mike Slamka- Power Play ‘03 and Crossroads ‘09) and grandfather (Jack Slamka- Power Play ‘03) as a gold medalist. She won as a tenor with ClassRing (Rising Star 2014 & SAI 2019). She also sings tenor with her husband, Nathan, in Double Date (2014 & 2016 BinG! World mixed champs). [Nathan also sings with Quorum 2023 BHS champs!] She taught music for 5 years and now stays home with her two precious children (Miles and Jenevieve) and makes learning tracks for quartets and choruses!
